The Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) announced this week that SoundMinds Radio is a finalist in the 2016 CBAA Community Radio Awards in the ‘Best New Radio Program: Talks’ category. Dallas Rogers is an Executive Producer of the show alongside community radio partner Michael Schubert from BayFm. The Chief Executive Officer of CBAA Jon Bisset said, ‘The competition in this year’s awards season was fierce, attracting a new record of 286 entries from across the sector. These were assessed by a jury of 100 expert judges from the community broadcasting sector and beyond’. The winners of the awards will be announced at the CBAA’s annual Awards Gala dinner at the Pullman Hotel in Albert Park, Melbourne on Saturday 12 November.
